Do you love chatting to other people in Irish? Well, now you can enjoy a special weekend with fellow Gaelgóirí in beautiful Southwest Donegal! At Carrick Gate we are offering an opportunity for those with a grá for the language, whatever the level, to come together and enjoy an immersive weekend in Irish. Our Irish speaking staff will provide our guests with a special and unique stay to relax, explore and have the craic with other Gaelgóirí in one of the most scenic coastal areas in Ireland.

Friday 16th October
- Arrival and check-in at Carrick Gate
- Settle in and make yourself at home for the weekend
- 8.30am - 10.30am - Breakfast at Carrick Gate
- 11.00am - 12.30pm - Ciorcal Comhrá
- 1.00pm - Trip to Glencolmcille Folk Village, with lunch and guided tour
- Afternoon - Scenic journey home
- 6.30pm - Dinner at The Rusty Mackerel
- 8.00pm - Traditional music session at Evelyn's Central Bar
- 8.30am - 10.30am - Breakfast
- 11.00am - Check-out
- 11.15am - River walk
- 12.30pm - Tea/coffee, scones and goodbyes at Carrick Gate
